It's time for the Finewater annual November holiday sale, so prices of all gemstones have been reduced by 20%. Sale prices are in effect until Saturday November 29.

My latest trip to the Sri Lankan gem markets was a huge success. I've returned with dozens of awesome sapphires in all colors and from 1 to 10 carats, along with a few alexandrites, chrysoberyls and spinels.  I will be posting these over the next couple of months as I get the ID reports completed and photographs taken. There's something for everyone, but you'll need to wait for my newsletter announcing the availability of the new gemstones. No sneak peeks!

I just returned from a short trip to Bogota, where I was able to acquire a few nice emeralds including two rare cat's eye emeralds. I'll be sending them out for ID reports, so look for an upcoming newsletter offering these sometime in December.
