Sri Lanka produces sapphires of all colors, and I'm especially attracted to those that are a little different. GIA calls this a blue sapphire, but there's a bit of yellow that creates a mixture of blue, teal and green flashes so that it has a parti-color effect. Because it's a Ceylon sapphire the color is brighter and less "muddy" than parti-color sapphires from other areas of the world. Traditional heat only, well cut, and perfect for that person who's truly unique! GIA identification report is included.
