One of my priorities when buying in Sri Lanka is sourcing top blue sapphires in a round cut, as well-cut rounds are rare. I was fortunate to find this rich blue beauty, with traditional heating, good clarity, and excellent cutting. Ceylon is historically considered one of the "top three" locations for blue sapphires (and the only one of the three that still has significant production). A GIA report confirming identification and origin is included with purchase.
