The price of unheated blue sapphires has exploded in the past years, so this old stock royal blue sapphire was one of the few that I was able to purchase at a good price on my last trip to Sri Lanka. Excellent cutting in a rare radiant cut, certified unheated, and light wispy inclusions give it a slightly silky appearance.
