Lab-created rubies have been around since the 1800s, and the original flame fusion ruby is great. However, the newer and pricier Czochralski material has a bit of an orangey pleochroic axis that makes it appear even more similar to natural ruby. This beauty has flawless clarity and is precision cut in my signature "Waverly" round mixed-cut design.
