This is a true alexandrite (albeit lab-created) as opposed to the common color-change sapphire that was marketed as alexandrite in the mid 20th century. Color change from greenish blue in daylight/fluorescent lighting and shifting to purple in incandescent. Ideal cut with my signature "Itasca" hearts and arrows design, flawless clarity, and a perfect ring size that should easily fit an 8mm stock setting.
