Hot pink spinels have become incredibly popular the past few years, with many claiming to be the so-called "Jedi" spinels. Is this a Jedi? Perhaps - it was purchased many years ago in the Burmese gem market before dealers began applying this label to all pink spinels. It has good cutting and some light inclusions (but eye-clean at normal viewing distances). A very pretty gemstone.
