My goal on this latest buying trip was red spinels and this was one of my favorites. Very slightly pinkish red (which I like better than the "brick red" variety more commonly seen) and looks nicer and more ruby-like than most of the rubies that I've ever seen. Excellent clarity and cutting, and a perfect ring size.
