4.50 ct Lab-created Color-change Sapphire
Color-change gemstones are among my favorites, so when I came across this new variety, I had to purchase the entire parcel. This is the first stone cut from the rough, precision fashioned into my signature square cushion design to maximize both brilliance and color performance. It displays a distinct color change from teal blue in daylight to purple under incandescent illumination. In mixed lighting, both hues are visible simultaneously, producing an attractive intermediate appearance that highlights the strength of the color-change phenomenon.
