An intense "Mandarin" or "Fanta" orange hue in this fine spessartite garnet, which rivals the famed (and now defunct) Namibian discovery in the 1990s. Precision cut in my popular "Waverly" round mixed cut design. There are inclusions visible in this highly magnified photo, but these "fingerprint" inclusions are actually beneficial here as they serve to reduce extinction and scatter light inside the gem, giving it a "glowy" appearance.
