As a formal gemologist I love all gemstones with "phenomena", and one of those phenonmena is color change. This lab-created sapphire shows a strong change from light purple in indoor lighting to a light grayish green in outdoor lighting. Kyropolous-created sapphire is uber-rare so of course I had to buy the whole parcel when I found some! Precision cut in my Itasca round "hearts and arrows" design.
