Portuguese cuts are underrated because most cutters don't like cutting this many small facets, but I think that they have a very cool and unique "swirling" effect. I like to use this cut in peridot and aquamarine, but here's one in an uncommon variety of beryl. Beryl comes in many different colors - the blue variety is aquamarine, green is emerald, pink is morganite, etc but yellow is either called heliodor or golden beryl. Flawless clarity and will easily fit a calibrated 7mm stock setting.
