Cut from the same material that I use for my larger royal blue Asscher-style cuts, this example shows the effect that cut has on color and tone. When cut in a round brilliant design the tone is lighter, and shows off more of the purplish blue hue that is typical of "cornflower" blue natural sapphires. Precision cut in my signature Itasca hearts and arrows design.
