Aquamarine
Aquamarine is named for its association with the color of the sea, and are found in a range of blue shades. Most are greenish blue when mined and are heated to become a permanent blue color. It is a member of the beryl family (which also includes emerald). It is the birthstone of March and was long thought to have a soothing influence on married couples, making it a good anniversary gift.
